Ginger Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk

  • 2 cup water (or use more milk for extra richness)

  • Organic Raw sugar

  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger

  • pinch of ground ginger

  • whip cream

  • 1⁄2 cup cocoa

  • 1pinch sea salt

  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • ginger candy or marshmallows.

Directions

  1. Simmer the milk and water in a saucepan.

  2. Reduce heat and gradually stir in cocoa powder, sea salt and ginger. Whisk the mixture.

  3. Remove from heat before adding vanilla extract.

  4. Use your raw sugar to sweeten to taste.

  5. Pour in hot cocoa

  6. Add whip cream

  7. Sprinkle ground ginger for presentation.

  8. Enjoy with marshmallows or ginger candy.
