Saturday, June 18th, the Tigerlilly Foundation hosted the 4th Annual Pajama Glam in Alexandria VA. Pajama Glam was hosted by Housewife of Potomac, Ashley Darby, and 10 year old actresses/dancer Asia Monet. The event was nothing but a girls dream filled with pink, pampering and fun. The décor spoke for itself with an array of pink, feathers, and sparkles everywhere. Participants sang, danced, modeled, and exercised. The day epitomizes the saying “what a girl wants”. Outside on the courtyard, you couldn’t miss the face painting, nail designing, and hula hooping. The night ended with a fashion show including all the young participants. Besides the pampering, delicious food and amazing décor, the event was a success by the unspoken sisterhood and bonding between women of all ages.

Pajama Glam raises awareness of breast cancer for women and girls. The owner, 10 year old Noelle Karmos is the brain child of the entire Pajama Glam experience. After watching her mother & Tigerlilly Foundation Founder, Maimah Karmos, go through breast cancer, Noelle thought it would be a great idea to hold an event that would educate women and children about the disease. Four years and counting, Noelle’s dream with the help of her mother has been a big hit. When asked about the success of Pajama Glam she modestly shrugs and says “I’m just glad I’m affecting so many people in a great way”.
